The mission of Groundwork Southcoast (GWSC) is to bring about the sustained regeneration, improvement and management of the physical environment by developing community-based partnerships that empower people, businesses and organizations to promote environmental, economic and social well-being.

Groundwork Southcoast is a nonprofit organization whose work is made possible by the National Park Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Cities of Fall River and New Bedford.

We invest in and Lift the voice of youth and community stakeholders in environmental equity in the Southcoast of Massachusetts

Stewardship

The physical transformation of the work we do and the training that goes along with it to do so safely builds a strong community youth involvement

We invest in our youth leading outreach and connecting to their community members to contribute to and be engaged in our work

Welcome to the Sow and Grow program

Bored at home? Want to learn how to grow your own food?

We’re launching Sow and Grow. We’ll be growing remotely together! In exchange for a kit we’ll ask for you to participate in our online Sow and Grow community (as well as to fill out a couple of forms for us to make sure we have your permission and share with our funders, etc.)
