Groundwork Southcoast (GWSC) invests in the environmental leadership of youth and communities, building resilience in the south coast of Massachusetts through environmental stewardship, food access, and workforce development. Working at the intersection of community and environmental resilience, GWSC empowers youth and community leadership through participatory-based service, skill-building, and career readiness in two historically under-resourced communities: New Bedford and Fall River, MA. With hands-on programs like community gardening, urban forestry, and conservation projects, GWSC transforms local challenges into opportunities for growth, building stronger, more resilient communities.
