Our work: Groundwork Southcoast invests in the environmental leadership of youth and communities, building equity in Massachusetts’ south coast through environmental stewardship, food access, and workforce development. Working at the intersection of community, environmental, and climate resilience, GWSC empowers youth and community leadership through participatory-based service, skill-building, and career readiness in New Bedford and Fall River, MA. Through activities like community gardening, orchard management, green infrastructure, stormwater gardens, food access work, community engagement, and street beautification, we empower Green Team youth to make a tangible impact in their communities while gaining leadership skills and career-readiness.

Sponsorship
Harvest Bash is GWSC’s premier annual fundraising event and autumn celebration, attended by community members, organizational partners and allies, representatives from local municipalities, our Board of Directors, our community gardeners, Green Team youth, and their families. Local elected officials are invited to attend as well.
Sponsorship of Harvest Bash comes with the satisfaction of knowing that your support makes a direct and positive, long-term impact on the environment, youth, and our community at-large. In addition, recognition as a GWSC sponsor demonstrates a commitment to environmental justice and local food access. Harvest Bash proceeds power our food access work.
