Fundraising Director

Groundwork Southcoast (GWSC) is seeking a relationship-driven Fundraising Director to lead and expand our development strategy.
The Fundraising Director will play a key role in advancing Groundwork Southcoast’s mission by building and managing relationships that support a diverse and sustainable funding strategy. This position leads efforts to grow and steward partnerships, driving long-term revenue growth aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

Part-Time Positions
Green Team
(ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR WAITLIST)
Part-time, year-round employment for youth (particularly located in New Bedford and Fall River, MA) between the approximate ages of 14-18. Work focuses on leadership development, community science, outreach and engagement, and community gardening.
Operates in 3 sessions, hiring 3x/year: School Year I, School Year II, and Summer.
Green Corps
Part-time, year-round workforce development employment program for young adults, approximately aged 18-30 (particularly in New Bedford and Fall River, MA). Duties include hands-on environmental stewardship, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, and more (training provided).
Green Team Leader
(NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS)
Groundwork Southcoast is seeking a dedicated Green Team Leader to guide youth (ages 14-18) in hands-on environmental projects, community engagement, and communications initiatives. This role provides key leadership and mentorship, helping team members build skills, confidence, and environmental awareness while advancing our mission of resilience and community empowerment.
We are seeking one Leader to lead this team who is over 21 years old, has held a driver’s license for at least six months, maintains a clean driving record, and can successfully pass a CORI and SORI background check.
