Green Team

Part-time, year-round employment for youth (particularly located in New Bedford and Fall River, MA) between the ages of 14-21.

Operates in 3 sessions, hiring 3x/year: School Year I, School Year II, and Summer.

Green Corps 

Part-time, year-round workforce development employment program for out-of-school young adults, approximately aged 18-26ish (particularly located in New Bedford and Fall River, MA). Duties include hands-on environmental stewardship, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, and more (training provided).

Community Resilience Leaders

Do you live in New Bedford, between Durfee St to Brooklawn Park, or between Rt 140 and the Acushnet River? Consider joining GWSC’s LRC (Community Resilience Leaders), a paid opportunity to impact climate-resilience in your neighborhood, build community, and learn new skills. Participants will receive training to use a suite of tools to monitor heat and air quality, provide input into resilience plans, and will receive compensation for their time.
